The role
This role is with Neon Link directly, not a client: Neon Link places experienced remote professionals, most of them in the Philippines, full time with US small and mid-size businesses, and you'll be the first real conversation many of those business owners have with us. You'll open conversations with US business owners by phone on a power or parallel dialer, build and keep the lists you call, answer new inquiries while they're still warm, and see every meeting you book through to the founder's call. It's a wider job than most SDR roles: you'll also review and send the day's outreach emails and work the replies, keep the CRM clean enough that anyone could pick up your pipeline, and tell us plainly what in the tools or the process slows you down.
It matters because a meeting that holds with the right owner is how a US business finds out that experienced remote help can work for them, and a careless booking wastes an hour that owner didn't have to give. US calling and email rules apply to business outreach too, so you'll honor every do not call and unsubscribe request on the spot, call only during the prospect's local business hours, and keep prospect data inside the tools you're given. Commission is paid on meetings that hold with a decision maker and are confirmed qualified, never on bookings alone. There's a real path here, from SDR to senior SDR to running discovery calls yourself.
People do well here when they're competitive with a number, take a no without taking it personally, and are as careful with a meeting brief as they are quick on the phone. You'll report directly to the founder, a 20 year BPO operator who started on the phones himself, and get hands-on coaching from him through ramp and after it. Before your first live dial you're trained on what Neon Link offers, how we qualify a meeting, the US calling and email rules we follow, and the dialer and CRM you'll work in.
What you'll do
- Call US business owners and decision makers on a power or parallel dialer, get past the gatekeeper and hold a real conversation about how their business runs
- Build and own your prospect lists: research the companies, verify contact names, direct lines and emails, respect every do not call flag, and remove duplicates before anyone gets called twice
- Answer inbound inquiries within minutes during your shift, qualify them against the criteria you're trained on, and book the ones that fit
- Review, edit and send the day's outreach emails, send a short follow-up when a call ends with "send me something", and watch the replies so a warm answer never sits
- Handle the first objections (not interested, we already have someone, just send me an email) and still ask for the meeting; on every no, ask who else might need the help
- After every call, log the outcome, the objection, any competitor named, any pricing pushback and the next step in the set format, the same day
- Own every meeting you book: send the confirmation and invite, write a one page brief for the founder on the business and what the owner told you, confirm again the day before, reschedule no-shows and run the follow-up afterward
- Work a weekly block on closed-lost and dormant leads and reopen the ones whose timing has changed
- Track your own numbers every day, from dials to meetings held, and bring them to coaching with one thing you'll change on the next call
- Flag what slows you down in the dialer, the CRM or the process with a short, specific note, so it gets fixed instead of worked around
- 60 to 100 dials and 8 to 12 decision maker conversations a day, every touch logged before you sign off
- 5 to 8 qualified meetings a week once you're through ramp, and a show rate you own
- Inbound inquiries answered within minutes during your shift, and a founder brief on every meeting before it starts
- Clean lists and a pipeline anyone could pick up, with no duplicates, no missing next steps and no do not call request missed
What you bring
- 2 or more years of outbound B2B cold calling into US businesses, with numbers you can talk through: dials, conversations, meetings booked and meetings held
- Inbound call center work, collections or consumer telesales alone doesn't count for this role, and neither does cold calling homeowners, such as seller leads for real estate wholesalers
- Hands-on experience with a power or parallel dialer (Kixie, PhoneBurner, JustCall, Aircall, Five9, CallTools or similar) and a CRM you kept current
- Experience building your own prospect lists: finding companies, verifying names, direct lines and emails from company websites, LinkedIn and data tools, and cleaning out duplicates
- You can find the real decision maker in an owner run business, ask questions about how the business runs, and tell a qualified meeting from a polite yes
- Open to coaching and quick to apply the note on the next call; you take the no, log it and dial the next one
- Organized enough to carry a meeting from booking to follow-up without anyone reminding you
- Careful with prospect and company data: you keep lists, notes and call details inside the tools you're given, you don't export prospect lists to personal devices or accounts, and you'll sign a confidentiality agreement and pass a background and reference check, including a current NBI clearance
- Confident, natural, easily understood spoken English for cold calls with US business owners, so you sound like a colleague, not a script, and clear written English for emails, meeting briefs and CRM notes
- Able to work US business hours Monday to Friday, a night shift that starts between 8pm and 1am Philippine time depending on which US time zones you're calling and the time of year, and to hold that schedule long term
- Education: any bachelor's degree preferred, not required; your call numbers and references matter more
- Experience selling outsourcing, staffing, BPO or other B2B services
- Experience calling owner operated US businesses rather than enterprise buyers
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, ZoomInfo or similar prospecting tools
- Some experience running discovery calls, or a clear plan to get there
- A call you're proud of that you can walk us through from memory: the opener, the objection and how you got the meeting
Work setup
- Your own Windows 10 or 11 computer with a Core i5 or Ryzen 5, or a recent Mac, with 8 GB of RAM or more that runs a browser based dialer and CRM without lag, plus a webcam and a noise canceling headset
- Fiber internet of at least 25 Mbps with a mobile data or second provider backup
- A UPS or generator so a brownout doesn't end your shift
- A quiet, private workspace with no background noise on your calls
- Tell us your city and province when you apply; we hire across regions, so one storm or outage doesn't hit everyone at once
You'll do well here if
